There is no scientific explanation to the success of 'healing' as a way to solve medical problems, but just theories: maybe it's the belief, maybe the chemistry with the healer or maybe it is a placebo effect. Henia Spindel, a well known healer says: "it's all about love and total acceptance". And maybe like one of the patients says:" if it works, don’t look for logical explanations".

Henia Spindel was born in Russia, immigrated to Israel when she was 19, got married and went to Australia with her husband. She lived there for 30 years and had three children. After a long process of learning and developing spiritual awareness she felt it's her time to make a change in her life. She got divorced, lived a year in Las Vegas, USA and then went back to Australia. She learnt more about healing and the secrets of Polarity therapy. About two years ago she settled in Israel in the city of Hod Hasharon, and since then she is helping in treating many people. Henia Spindel "scans" the body and mind of her patients with her eyes. She places her hands on various areas of the body and unblocks energy channels. Every treatment ends with a long warm hug. Her patients who follow her from all over the world manage to get rid of many health problems, such as back ache, muscle inflammations, insomnia, phobias, infertility and other emotional problems.

Shmoel Ezer, 55, a business man from Hertzalia who is very successful in the computer business met Spindel by mutual friends. "When we first met we shook hands and she made a comment about me having a problem in my right hand. I was amazed, as for some time I suffered an inflammation in my wrist. She asked if she could give me a quick massage and after a few minutes the pain that was there for months – was gone. I couldn’t believe what had happened and I decided to show Henia a photograph of a close friend of mine who suffers from chronic head aches. She identified exactly what was the problem and stated with confidence that it was a result of a back problem. When I told my friend what had happened, he came for one treatment and got rid of the problem.

Danny and Dorit Belkin-Lutz from Hod Hasharon also came to Henia for treatment. Danny suffered from lower back pain and stiffness in his shoulders. Dorit, as a teacher, suffered frequently from pain in her throat and lost her voice. Danny says, "My back pain disappeared after one visit and now I come every few weeks just to be sure it doesn’t come back I cannot explain how it works, but if it helps I don’t need to look for a logical explanation. I have always been a very healthy person, I haven't visited a doctor for years and when I started to have back pain I was looking for somebody that will treat me with natural methods. I myself studied Reiki and I believe in healing and energies. I don’t think you can solve every problem that way, but as most health problems are related to stress and emotions, they can be helped. Believing in the system helps but is not essential for success”. Dorit, his wife, stated that she suffers often from pain and discomfort in her throat. “When I came to see Henia, I could actually feel how she could ‘see through me’ with her eyes. She put her hands directly on my throat and I immediately felt warm and tingling then a shivering sensation. After the treatment my voice returned to its normal condition. I was surprised to discover that the treatment lasted almost an hour while it seemed like a few minutes”.

Edit Markovich, dental technician, aged 59, from Haifa, suffered for years from back pain. "I met Henia at a party, she offered to treat me and after one visit I felt a significant relief. Henia also treated my husband who suffered from weakness and fatigue. Love and Total Acceptance
Science and medicine do not acknowledge healing and "working with energies" as a way to cure health problems. However, laying hands, touch therapy and other methods of alternative medicine have become more and more popular during the past years. The success of such methods depends partly on the "chemistry" between the healer and the patient. If the patient believes that the healer can help, the affect is quicker and more significant. Henia Spindel explains, "A patient that arrives to my clinic feels my attitude which is universal love and total acceptance. I don’t judge or criticize people. I feel what they need and I give them my undivided attention. The treatment takes as long as it takes. I never look at the clock. I feel as if the time stops … a lot of people come to me with problems that are a result of the modern way of life. We all know that stress, tension and depression are killing us. Add to that lack of physical activity and consuming junk food and you have a recipe for a low quality of life and diseases. During the treatment I connect to the cosmic powers and transfer it to the patients. The magic of healing can happen only if the patient is ready to cooperate from within”.

When Magic and Energy Meet
In Henias' clinic there are candles that burn all hours of the day. A large photograph of the Rabbi Lubavitch is hanging on the wall. She says, "He is my spiritual guide with whom she connects during the healing process". The treatment can be done sitting on a chair or lying on a bed with full clothes on (she says," I don't credit myself, I only enhance the process of the healing which happens naturally.") Not all of Henia's patients can arrive to her in person. She is sometimes treating people that live far away, as healing is not restricted to distance, space, place or time. She has already successfully helped people that were in coma's in Europe and in the USA. Henia Spindel is known as the 'Hugging Healer' by her patients. She says, "When I hug I can feel the pain of the other person and release them from negative energy's that can cause pain in different parts of the body. I can see and feel the healing energy flowing through the body like an endless river of light."
