Expression: Opening for Humility
What I am most seeing, in all of us, lately, is a need for humility. I look at people while I am talking to them and I see a need for contraction. Contraction is a going within, finding center, then expanding through wholeness. This is a complicated way of saying humility. We all need humility at this time. This year holds tremendous opportunity for change and growth. And, this change and growth becomes significantly easier to cope with, in a state of humility.
When we are open, because we are at one with ourselves, we have the power to change without the pain.
At this time, many people are going through, what may seem to be, random personal chaos. When this happens, most of us tend to get busy, we want to fix, change or move things around. It doesn’t take long to realize that this often makes things worse.These times of personal chaos are opportunities to re-evaluate and to become more humble. It is in our humility that we become open to the new.
This year of 2008, may continue to have challenges but if we can let go, open up and be attentive to the moment, we can certainly move through them with more grace.
